FAQS:

How does my reloadable Visa prepaid card work?

Because it is a prepaid card, spending is limited to the amount of funds loaded and available on your card account.   The more you recycle, the more you receive. Plus, because this is a Visa debit card you can use it everywhere Visa is accepted - in stores, online, or over the phone. Each time you use your card, the purchase amount will be automatically deducted from your card balance.

Do I need to activate my new Visa prepaid card?

No, your card is instantly usable for signature or PIN purchases. Simply swipe and sign or enter your PIN for cash back purchases.

How do I get cash at an ATM with my reloadable Visa prepaid card?

To get cash at an ATM, insert your card into the machine and enter your PIN. Select "checking" to make a withdrawal and enter the amount of cash you want to withdraw. Then, take your cash, card, and receipt to keep track of your balance. An ATM locator is available at online.paysign.com and in the Paysign mobile app.

What is an ATM surcharge fee?

Like most other cards, commonly referred to as a surcharge, this is a fee that may be imposed by the ATM owner and will be charged to you for using the ATM.

What is a surcharge-free network?

A surcharge-free network is a participating network of ATMs through which certain cardholders can get access to their accounts without a surcharge.

How can I avoid a surcharge fee at the ATM?

By visiting participating MoneyPass® or Allpoint® ATMs, you will not pay a surcharge fee to withdraw cash.

Use the Paysign mobile app to find participating no surcharge ATMs. Please note that the ATMs included in-network may change from time to time.

There may be a fee for using the ATM. Please refer to the fee schedule.

How do I make a purchase with my reloadable Visa prepaid card?

Each time you use your card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your card balance.

Check your card balance before you shop by calling the number on the back of your card , or by using the Paysign mobile app.

What if I want to purchase an item that costs more than the available balance on my reloadable Visa prepaid card?

To make a purchase greater than the available balance on your card, you will need to use a second payment method - cash, check, or an alternate card - to cover the difference. However, not all merchants can handle these "split-tender" transactions, and, if you try to purchase an item of greater value than your available card balance, your transaction will be declined.

What should I do if my reloadable Visa prepaid card is declined?

If a transaction is declined, the merchant will let you know. A fee may be applied if a transaction is declined. To help prevent this, keep track of your balance by visiting calling Customer Care with the number on the back of your card or using the Paysign mobile app. It is always a good idea to check your available balance prior to shopping.

Where can I check my balance at no charge?

Call the number on the back of your card, visit online. paysign.com, or use the Paysign mobile app at any time to check your balance at no charge. You can also question a charge, change your PIN, or report a lost or stolen card. The call is always at no charge.

Where can I use my reloadable Visa Prepaid Card?

You can use your card online, over the phone, and at the millions of merchants worldwide who accept Visa - including supermarkets, pharmacies, clothing stores, drug stores, to make utility payments, other one-time or recurring bills, and more.

Is there a maximum amount I may withdraw from an ATM?

The maximum withdrawal from any ATM is $400 per day.

Can I transfer funds to my reloadable Visa prepaid card?

No, transferring or wiring of any funds to your card is strictly prohibited.

Is there a fee for a replacement card?

There is a fee per card (no charge for first replacement). Please refer to the fee schedule.

To request a replacement card, please visit the location you received your card.

What should I do when I've spent the original amount that was pre-loaded?

A "zero balance" card is a great way to alert you that it's time to recycle again. But keep your card - even after the balance is depleted.  Again, your card is "reloadable."
